MISSISSAUGA, ON – The Steelheads teamed up with Hockey Gives Blood in support of the Canadian Blood Services for the OHL’s first ever Bleed Blue game. The effort was success as Jacob Ingham raised $5572 for the cause. Friday night’s game saw the team don specially designed camo-and blue inspired jerseys.
These special edition game-worn jerseys are now being auctioned off online with 100% of proceeds being donated to Hockey Gives Blood in support of the Canadian Blood Services. You can place a bid for one of these jerseys HERE!
Reducing blood shortages nationwide is a cause that is important to everyone at the Steelheads, but especially to Jacob Ingham. The Steelheads goaltender raised almost $6000 dollars by donating $4 for every save he made in the first 50 games played this season.
