Dawson Carty commits to Steelheads

Mississauga, ON – The Mississauga Steelheads are pleased to announce that their 6th round pick from the 2012 OHL Priority Selection, Dawson Carty, has committed to the team and has signed an Ontario Hockey League agreement.



Carty was selected by Mississauga in the 6th round, 113th overall at the 2012 OHL Priority Selection. The 6’0”, 165 lb goaltender is a native of Mississauga, and played with the Mississauga Rebels Minor Midget AAA team of the GTHL. Carty spent last season with the Rebels Midget AAA team and filled in with the Steelheads on a number of occasions while goalie Tyson Teichmann was injured.



The Steelheads welcome Dawson and his family to the Mississauga Steelheads organization.
