Future Fish Friday: Kevin Wall
It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for another Future Fish profile. Today we go across the boarder to the United States, where Steelheads prospect Kevin Wall is from.
Position: Right Wing
Hometown: Penfield, NY, USA
Previous Team: Buffalo Jr. Sabres 16U
The Steelheads acquired the 178th pick in the ninth round from the Kitchener Rangers, where they selected New York native Kevin Wall. Kevin is the only American Steelheads’ prospect as he comes from the Buffalo Jr. Sabres 16U, scoring 63 points (34 goals and 29 assists) in 64 regular season games. Kevin describes his style of play as “a power forward, not afraid to go into the corners”. Steelheads general manager, James Boyd describes Wall as “a skilled player with size and a knack for the net.
