Mississauga native, Michael Little commits to hometown Steelheads

The Mississauga Steelheads are pleased to announce the commitment of forward Michael Little, the team’s third-round draft pick, 59th overall, in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. The Mississauga native spent the 2015 – 16 season with the Toronto Marlboro Minor Midget AAA team, recording 46 points (19 goals, 27 assists) in 57 games. Little’s Marlboros enjoyed a successful 2015-16 campaign, qualifying for the GTHL Finals and OHL Cup Finals. Michael also competed at the Under-16 OHL Gold Cup, playing on GTHL Team Red.

“Michael’s hard driving style and enthusiasm for the game will translate well to the Ontario Hockey League. Fans will enjoy the effort and passion that Michael exhibits with the Steelheads for seasons to come,” adds Steelheads general manager, James Boyd.

The Mississauga Steelheads welcome Michael and the Little family to the organization!
