Steelheads add Trent Fox from Bulldogs

The Mississauga Steelheads announced that they have acquired Trent Fox from the Hamilton Bulldogs in exchange for a fifth round selection in 2017, a fourth round selection in 2019 and a third round selection in 2020.

Fox, a Chatham, ON native, has recorded 14 points (six goals, eight assists) this season with the Bulldogs. In 2015 – 16, Fox scored a team-high 28 goals and added 22 assists for Hamilton. Trent Fox is the younger brother of former Erie Otter & London Knight, Dane Fox.

Steelheads General Manager James Boyd holds the 6’03”, 189 pound left-winger in high regard. “Trent Fox’ size, skill and experience of over 150 OHL career games immediately improves our hockey club”.

The Steelheads would like to welcome Trent and his family to the organization.
