Steelheads Trade Harrogate to Oshawa

Mississauga, ON – The Mississauga Steelheads announced Wednesday that the team has traded forward Brendan Harrogate to the Oshawa Generals. In return, the Steelheads receive a fourth round selection in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, and a conditional seventh round selection in 2019.

Harrogate was selected by the Steelheads in the seventh round (125th overall) of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection. Over parts of three seasons, the Chatham, Ont., native appeared in 113 regular season games for Mississauga, recording 37 points (21 goals, 16 assists). Harrogate added five points (three goals, two assists) during the Steelheads’ playoff run to the OHL Finals last season.

“Brendan has been a valued member of our organization over the past few seasons, and we wish him all the best in Oshawa,” said Steelheads head coach and general manager, James Richmond.

The Steelheads would like to thank Brendan for his contributions over the last three years, and wish him all the best in Oshawa and in all his future endeavours.
