Traveling Trout: May Recap
Entering the summer months, the Steelheads continue to be an active contributor to the Mississauga community.
On Saturday, May 27th, the Steelheads were at Clarkson Community Centre to support Councillor Karen Ras’ 2nd Annual Community Fun Day and Free Swim. Team mascot Sauga also participated in the festivities, taking photos with fans and families.
The Steelheads continued their event season the next day on Sunday, May 28, at the Mississauga Valley Park for the Mandarin MS Walk. A fundraiser for multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system, the walk brought together 546 walkers and 84 teams, raising more than $128,000.
